The Fetal Assessment Centre offers specialist gynaecological ultrasounds as well as a full range of obstetric diagnostic services to prenatal patients with both normal and high-risk pregnancies. In addition to this we also offer our patients a comprehensive genetic counselling service.
Based in Cape Town, with medical rooms in Claremont and Durbanville, we are leaders in our field and use the latest ultrasound technology, which is coupled with highly experienced and knowledgeable medical professionals to provide our patients with a world-class, professional service in a friendly and nurturing environment.
Our Dedicated Team
The Fetal Assessment Centre opened its doors in 2000 when founding partners Dr Shannon Morris and Dr Karin Norman decided to assemble a group of top professionals in their respective fields and offer patients a service that is founded on professional excellence coupled with real care, nurturing and understanding. All of our doctors and sonologists are highly trained in ultrasound scanning and fetal medicine and are accredited and audited by The Fetal Medicine Foundation in London. Our ultrasound scans are backed up with informative and sensitive genetic counselling.
